The CarComp unit is (was) good, Baum is in the process of taking it over,
will be several months before they have units ready to ship according to my
conversation with them 2-3 weeks ago. The CC was easier to use most of the
time, it certainly gave you easier to read data instead of the cryptic 1552
data blocks. One word of warning-do not hook up your 1551/1552 or CC to a
late 98 & up VW or Audi if a non stock radio is installed, some of the
adapters put power back into the diagnostic port & zaps the units ( I
learned the hard way !!).
