What is a welded manifold if it isn't a used manifold?

I've taken three welded manifolds off WR ur-quattros.  All failed at
approximately 20,000 miles.

Given the cost of getting in there and the additional work you're likely
to find each time (snapped exhaust studs, for instance) it's false
economy to fit anything but a new manifold.
