Gee Marc, like I said, new ones ought to be good for at least 5 years
before you break them...

Is there room in the head for the nuts and socket to tighten them if you
use studs? the bolts are socket head thingies, triple square I think,
so there may not be much clearance around them. that's usually why
socket cap screws get used I think. Only excuse I can think of, anyway.
