Re: Sorting out URQ

The timing is not adjustable, The computer takes care of that with the aid
of the refrence sensor in the bellhousing.
The fuel mixture is adjusted with a 3mm LONG allen wrench(at least 6")
through a small hole in the air filter housing between the fuel distributer
and the metal pot.
Turning it clockwise will richen the mixture and counter clockwise will lean
it out.
If you have a dwell meter you can check the OXS dutycycle at the small 2 pin
connector (it should be in the right rear corner of the engine bay(one brown
wire and one blue/white).tap into the blue/white and read off the duty cycle
it should be fluctuating between 40-50 (on the 90deg scale)With the engine
at operating temp. adjust till the # are in range, If they are at 90 then it
is too lean and if <10 then it is too rich , if not moving from 45 then
either the OXS sensor is not plugged in or the temp sensor is bad.
Hope this helps..........
