I've only had one really difficult one and we ended up using a slide-hammer 
to remove it.  Needless to say, we trashed the injector in the process but it 
*did* come out.

As for long levers, way back when, I can recall using a leg from the 
next-door neighbor's swingset -- fortunately for me, they were on vacation at 
the time! -- to straighten a rear swing arm on my friend's Husqvarna.  It was 
easily 12' long!
