Idle Switch Cleaning

How would I go about removing my idle switch for cleaning? The switch
is underneath the throttle body and seems unaccessable without taking the
throttle body off, that means new gasket right?
I am assuming that the idle switch is bad since everytime I stop the
idle surges as if the ISV isn't active. Now even when I sit and idle the
car the idle drops low and wobbles. Today I got the potentiometer code for
the air flow plate. I'm not sure why I would be getting a code for that, it
is for cold acceleration enrichment and I got the ECS blink and code when
the engine was hot. Anyone?

Thanks again!
