Not my recollection, but that's what the archives are for, I 
guess. All I remember reading from his keyboard is that it 
doesn't happen in the ur-q.

Hmmm... drive an ur-q for years without a hint of it... drive a 
44 for days and there it is...

Again, check the archives (I don't have time at the moment). His 
past discourse was no reason to discredit him, IMHO. He was 
honestly and objectively searching for the bite all along, 
several times asking for direction in his hunt. His conclusions  
were formed by his real world experience.

Phil's experience would suggest that the severity varies greatly 
from one to the next.

Well, _I_ never said that it couldn't happen in the small cars. 
Maybe the variables have to be just right: high hp + long 
wheelbase, low hp [sniff] + short wheelbase?

BTW, I absoliutely _hate_ talking about someone in third person 
who is within earshot. My apologies Phil.

I also realize that there are quite a few list members who 
would like me dead right now...
