V8Q UFO Wheels

Have a 90 V8Q with UFO brakes. Just bought the car and brakes were recently
done, so they will stay for a while (I'm poor). Places like the Tire Rack
don't list any 15" or 16" wheels for this. Are the brakes a real problem for
aftermarket wheels? I would love some 17" with high buck tires, but this is
going to be used mostly by my wife and Michigan winters as well so I am
looking for something to replace the (starting to look nasty) stock wheels.
I would like to pretend that I am a serious driver, but the fact is I like
the price and ride of plain old 15" all weather tires. Have Audis because I
love them, but have to wait till the price of used ones makes them
affordable to me, so you purists, please excuse me. The car is nice other
than a few typical things and was the price of a three year old Escort.
Sure sounds better than the 5ks!!!
