Well, I too am awaiting my 00 S4...  but this is what I know of driving many, 
many turboed Porsches.... to drive very well, you MUST learn to "heel-toe" 
shift (OK, so in modern cars it's really "sides of the right foot" shifting). 
 The ultimate car to show this?  Surprisingly, not the 930 (911 Turbo), but 
in fact, the 944 Turbo.  Great car, even greater turbo lag...  :-)
Since I'm in central, NY we'll all have to attend a Quattro club event 
somewhere in the NE (after our cars are broken in!), and we'll collectively 
work on it.  Of course, by then I hope my car will be pushing 300 HP (to make 
up for the sound system <grin>).
