For $17k, I'd seriously consider selling my '85 Ur-Q ... for $20k, I think 
I'd be signing over the title in a heartbeat.  Mind you, I'd immediately plow 
the money back into another one, most likely a euro-spec grey market car 
that's been given all of its "special powers" back.  The resale value might 
not be as good but the driving experience would be a whole lot more 
interesting...  :^)

Ultra-low mileage, presumably cost-no-object maintenance and a 
quasi-celebrity owner?  Hmm ... maybe $25k isn't so far-fetched as it at 
first seems?
