    I have my serious doubts about how much more power you could expect with 
this modification.  Frankly, I think there are much better ways to improve 
power in a turbo charged motor, such as increasing boost.  In fact, I was 
playing around with a throttle body off an 84-85 turbo, and attempted to 
unscrew the wedge while cleaning it, and to my surprise, the bugger's head 
just twisted off!  To my knowledge, the screws are crimped on the back side 
so they do not fall off (imagine having one of those screws go through your 
motor, much less that wedge!)  I ended up filing the holes with JB weld and 
am done with it.  I would say leave it, and increase boost another 2 PSI to 
more than make up for what you hoped to gain...
