I wouldn't count on it Marc. Some stainless steels are designed
to handle high temperatures but the run of the mill stainless
fasteners you are likely to find are nothing special. I think
Corky Bell's turbocharging book covers this issue but I don't have 
my copy with me. Perhaps another kind soul could look
up this data.
