Diff lock problems resolved

Listers,
After cleaning the crud out of the white vacuum hose left over from cutting
it for the extension, vac pressure is back, everything works fine, but the
LED's still don't light up. The LEDs contain resistors, so I didn't blow
them out. I'm wondering if the previous switch had some voltage less than 12
powering the lights. The brown/yellow wire is powering one LED, brown/black
powering the other, both grounds good. LEDs are made by Linrose, model
#B2191U5, 12V AC/DC, responds in range 6V to 13.5V. Are my two power leads
short on voltage by nature?
Thanks,
