Lowered 80, Wandering car

My car seems to wander at highway speeds, worse at above speed limit
speeds, 80+mph. The wandering is a weird feeling, steering wheel stays in
the same position but the car seems to go diagonally across the lane. Like
a plane flying straight ahead but being pushed at a 45 degree wind and
sliding diagonally, bad analogy.
New control arm bushings, but as my real mechanic stated in the work
order: control arm bushings installed badly. I had the car up and I took a
look a couple of days ago and for sure things look really badly done around
the bushings. They look hammered in, another bummer. Would a bad bushing
install cause this wandering I am getting? Also seems like a wobble is
forming in the 55 mph range just like a month ago before I had the bushings
replaced by the mechanic from hell. This all points to ruined bushings to
me, but I'd love to hear that something else is broken(mild sarcasm). Or is
this a skittish behavoir of a lowered car, -60mm?

Thanks again,
