Damn hydraulic fluid reservoir!

Why does Audi use a non-transparent container to contain the hydraulic
fluid??????  I'm trying to make sense of this.  It is damn impossible to see
what the fluid level is during the day and at night, can be somewhat
possible if you hold a *very* bright flashlight directly behind it, but who
can get one back there.

I just thought I had low fluid level (was actually seeing some shadow or
something) and filled the reservoir too much (all the way to the top).  This
wouldn't happen if Audi made these things so you could actually see the
fluid!
