Since I'm being publicly dragged into this, I will confess that I've never 
seen or driven this car.  However, I'm a little bit surprised that you've 
taken issue with my comments about it having been an insurance write-off 
seeing that you were the person who rather proudly told me about this during 
one of our telephone conversations several years ago.

Unfortunately, I didn't think to record the conversation and since what we 
talked about isn't a public record, unlike the tax liens that were previously 
filed against you, I have only my memory to rely upon in support of my 
statements.  Of course, if you have reason to believe that this source is 
prone to lying or otherwise lacks credibility, then I'll be happy to retract 
my comments since I wouldn't wish to besmear your character inappropriately.

JG (who thinks it's really swell that some people can afford a new S4 after 
stiffing the IRS for thousands of dollars...)
