Our business specialized in helping people *resolve* their tax problems, not
just stiffing the IRS. While there were a few clients who accomplished this
with our help, they were generally people who were stuck with tax bills they
really didn't owe (believe it or not but it *can* happen for a myriad of
reasons) and thanks to our expertise, got off the hook, as they should have.
The rest of our clients did it by filing for bankruptcy, which had nothing to
do with us.

We didn't represent past or present tax protestors nor did we ever help
people "beat the system" ... as for EF, when I discussed his tax situation
with him -- he brought it up, by the way, not me -- he positively crowed
about how he was able to convince the IRS to settle his balance due for
pennies on the dollar (anybody who knows him, also knows that he *always*
pays less or gets more than you do) and even intimated that he'd been
exceedingly clever when filling out the financial statements they require as
part of their Offer in Compromise process. Needless to say, I listened to
him politely and smiled...

To be honest, Dave, my net worth is such that I *could* buy an S4 -- a dozen
of them, in fact, and for cash -- but I am adverse to buying assets that
depreciate. That I live fairly modestly is a lifestyle choice not a
financial one ... and, of course, since I didn't inherit any of it, all this
money had to come from somewhere, didn't it? :^)

What moral commentary?
