Scratch Removal

    What is the best way to get rid of those little annoying scratches on my
body work.  I have a bottle of Turtle Wax Stratch Remover, haven't tried
that yet.  Says, "Perfect for clear coats!"  "NEW"  Slightly skeptical, but
anythings worth a try.  I have a TON of little scratches from the original
owner putting his golf bag on the trunk while he popped the door locks.  So
the trunk is looking a bit chewed, plus the standard SUV dents, at least 5
of those:-(  I have used compounding paste on this stuff with no luck.
Waxed and no luck.  Anyone have a home remedy for these scratches or am I
looking at detailing?
