heated rear window help

Hi q list,


Does anyone know how to test the heated rear window element, I only have approx two thirds of mine working with the quattro part downwards not working which is a pain coz I think it looks great. I can't see any breaks in the element other than one small area (3mm) that has lifted slightly from the glass, any btdt. I am aware of that you can get special paint to re connect broken elements but I can't seem to find any. Help!!
