Re: MC ECU codes in 4kq/Ur-q.
Take the yellow wire out of the harness from the ECU. Splice in a wire and
connect it to a momentary switch. With the cold side of the switch run it
to a seatbelt warning light socket. Put the socket in the check engine
blank in the instrement cluster. Then ground the other side. What you will
do to check codes is simply push the momentary switch for 5 seconds. That
will trigger the ECU to send the codes to the light.
