93/100 Sunroof Oddity

I have a 1993 100CS with the sunroof switch which is
like a rotary dial.

Here's the problem:  As yesterday,  the sunroof is
either open in tilt or in slide back.

When I move the switch to close,  the sunroof is still
open on tilt.  If I turn the switch to open mode, the
sunroof will slide back.  I cannot close the damn
thing !

Anyone have any experience with this ?
