1985 5KS Transmission Conversion [update]

Hello all,

I finally have my car's interior put back together from the auto to manual 
tranny.  Had a problem with the mounting bracket for the boot, but was able 
to convert the plastic from the automatic shift lever to accommodate the 
boot.  I also replaced the cloth door panels with leather ones from an 86 
5Ktq(cs?)... dresses up the car extremely well...  Can't get the cruise 
control to work, but I think it is a lost cause... too many rubber air hoses 
to replace (control unit was replaced - no dice)....

Also think I discovered the window problem... I believe  the plug on the 
front, right door was disturbed when I removed the plastic to get to the 
tranny tunnel.... When it was put back together, I think I may have shorted 
the wires in the plug, but it was extremely intermittent... 

Again, Thanks to everyone for their help... all I have left to do is 
fix/repair/replace the roof liner, repair the sunroof, and acquire some grey 
leather seats...
