	"race nitrous" is legal to sell.  the major diffeent between
	that and industrial grade and medical grade, besides sterility
	in handling and purity, is that race nitrous is slightly tainted
	with sulphur, making inhaling it for fun a totally miserable
	experience.

	there are surely safety laws about handling and containment.
	this car had a "bottle heater" (!!!) around the nitrous, 
	which i bet was part of their problem.

	nitrous isn't flammable, it just promotes combustion, not sure
	but probably less than oxygen.  inhaling a breath of n2o and
	exhaling it via blowing it through a lit cigarette produces
	a bright white flame.  not a flare, or an out of control fire
	by any definition, but it does make the tobacco burn hot, fast
	and bright.
