RE: Hellava light question

Nate,
The Hella 500's are a great light for the money. Tough to beat
really for the price. BUT, they honestly dont compare to a properly wired
set of Euro's with the h1/H4 configuration. What I would reccomend is
some nice fogs or Even Better some Hella XL's which are Aux Low Beams.
Then for High usage some Hella 1000's or better. What you usually see
people with big Rally Lights in front is the Hella Rallye 2000, 3000, or
best yet the 4000. If you spend the money go for the 4000 is they are
worth it. Otherwise stick with the 500 or 1000. 2000 I think is
discontinued. BTW, they also have some newer style oval lights but I
figure, If you have to stick big Manly lights ont he front of a car with a
CD or like .33 (depending on trim, mods, etc) then you may as well go all
the way. :-)
BTW, Bosch lights are also popular as are PIAA. But for the money
Hella is hard to beat. IMHO> YMMV. etc.
