200 auto to manual conversion: major silly questions...

Warning: major silly questions coming up. I apologise.
Please don't flame me. :)

Uhmmmm....

Would the manual gearbox off a A6 2.8 V6 12-valve
fit in the manual 200? :) Is it an 016. (Sorry, I don't
have the details for the A6/100/C4).

It seems the wheel bearings are the same and most likely
the hub. The only questions remaining are:

are outer cv joints the same for the A6 C4
	(1994-) and the 200 manual C3 (1989-1991)?

	are the hubs the same?

	and the driveshafts?

The big deal here is the driveshafts. I have looked
at part numbers on TPC's website and the bearings
are the only thing listed. My mechanic tells me
the hubs are the same and he has the CV joints for
the A6. So wheel bearing, hub and CV joints are
the same and will most likely fit in at the bottom
of the struts. Since the auto 200 outer cv part
number matches nothing in terms of the 100 model
I have to assume I will need a driveshaft from the
200 manual to work with the cv joints. But if the
driveshaft from the manual A6 is the same as on
the 200 manual then I've got everything sorted to
do this (sans flywheel). :)

Has anyone got access to the family album to get
part numbers for the joints, bearings, hubs and
driveshafts for the C3 200 and C4 A6/100 (V6, 2.3,
2.2), please?

The A6 (94-) is the C4 bodied thing like the S4.

          *still* being researched!!!!)

Sorry for WOB!
