Re: cruise control

Anyone ever fixed this without replacing the switch?  I'd imagine it needs a cleaning and would work fine, but don't know if the switch can be taken apart.  Any suggestions appreciated.

1.  When I followed bentley once just for fun, I discovered that one of
the tests was just plain wrong.  Someday I'll document it properly.  

2. ignoring that, just spray some contact cleaner into the switch and
work it a bit.

The 4k style switch can be partially dismantled which makes cleaning
easier.
