fuel injector checking?

Got a question for the collective wisdom of the Q-list...
I have a set of 5kt fuel injectors that I would like to check the spray
pattern on.  Can I just hook these up to my 4k fuel distributor, put them
in some tubes, remove the spark plugs and crank away?  Anything else I
should remove when performing such a test?
