Yup, I can relate.  My daughter who drives an 87 Accord with 105000 mi
barely even changes the oil while I continuously spend $ on my 86 4kcsq with
all of 72k miles.  Both cars were purchased from the original owner
accompanied by respectable service records.  Great car, lots of fun on the
track, but if I had to use it as a daily driver I couldn't afford it, and I
haven't even gotten to the trim parts yet!  Course, I won't sell it either!
