My 84 4kq was purchased 6yrs ago with 150 on it and I have put more than
an additional 100k miles with very few repairs/maintance. It was nearing
250 when it needed an alt ond over that when its fuel pump gave up. At over
250 the car did get several major maintance which made it drive much nicer.
Still on the original clutch. Yes there has been a few minor items (like CV
boots, struts and control arm bushings) that I tend to forget (lucky me).
Also exhaust work replacing cat back stuff, but NO door handles or window
regulators (though I was told that they were relpaced before I got it).
Doing all the repairs myself helps a LOT but this one and my wife's (84
4kq 180K) have been very well to us. I even felt it reliable enough to take
it on a cross country trip, Spokane WA to Cape Cod hitting all of the
attractions even driving up Pikes Peak. NA cars REALLY hurt in the HP
department there! It came home only needing a rear wheel bearing which was
original AFAK and a CV boot. All power accessories work including PM! It
drives quite well and I doubt a Honda could could take this many miles in
stride, make it there yes but still be a comfortable daily driver?
Just what I consider my success story.
 Some other info amd pics.
