Well, your local hardware stores must be a LOT nicer than those around here 
as I can buy metal c-clips in all sorts of sizes but not the plastic kind 
with the points on one end that snap into a pre-drilled hole or those that 
snap over studs on the firewall or strut towers.  These are strictly a dealer 
item (although it doesn't have to be an Audi dealer as they're often 
available from VW dealers as well).
