throttle switch

I've been trying, for the past two weeks or so, to solve a cold start
stalling problem on my 91 100. I hopefully have solved the problem by
changing out fuel injection computers. Two questions, though; 1.) The
replacement computer, which is out of an 89 100, has the same numerical
part number but the final letter is a D on the 89 ecu compared to a F on
the 91. Is there a compatibility problem? It seems to work just fine, 2.)
Why does the 89 100 have a throttle switch (WOT) , when the 91 does not.
Both have idle switches, but the switch mounting brackets are different so
that a throttle switch could not be installed on the 91. The wiring
connector on both the 89 abd 91 are identical, but on the 91 the wire which
would go to the throttle switch is absent. Any ideas?
