LOW:  Inappropriate tires...period, it seems.  Touring Sport Contacts, as in
CH95's again?  Can anyone confirm that?  I saw some on a used A* at the
dealer, but I thought they must have been cheap replacements.

The same as on the A6 2.7t; noisy, weak sidewall and probably seriously
limiting braking performance.  Why not at least the CZ90's or CZ91's?  How
much might that have improved the positioning vis-a-vis the 740?
