Yes, Pascals - though we tend to use kiloPascals (kPa) in automotive
applications.  A lot of the background emails that fly about on the
periphery of the quattro mailing list refer to kPa units - it's the way
pressure sensor suppliers specify their devices.

Pressure times volume can equal potential energy, yes.  Or pressure
times a flow rate, itself only volume factored by time.

Pressure alone is not energy.
