Re: Another speeding ticket question
Good ol' internet...
Radar does not need to be stationary to get an accurate, reliable reading.
In MA, they have units that are aware of the police car's speed, and take
that into account when determining the speed of oncoming traffic. Is that
really hard to believe?

This has to be one of the easiest tickets I have heard of.
First of all you need to send in the ticket to contest it.
In court, explain to the judge that
He didn't have enough time to pace you. I think its 3 seconds at a steady
speed(for the state of WA).
(if he was pacing you)
If you meant he clocked you with the radar gun, he HAS to be stationary.
Meaning if his car is even moving at 4 mph, the speed is wrong. You
SHOULD of asked to see the radar once he said he CLOCKED you.
Go take some pictures of the road sign that POST 35mph. Then bring it to
court and make him feel stupid that he said you were in a 25 zone.
Chances are that he will NOT show up in court. He probably drives on that
road everyday and will realize that "Hey I am stupid."
Anyhow, don't pay the ticket. Even if it IS 35 mph on that road, you will
get a 5 mph ticket. Go for dismissal!
