Keyless Entry '96 A6, A4 etal
Has anyone found an aftermarket source for these transmiter
fobs/indentified the component manufacturer/OE Part number?
Has anyone found a way to program these if you only have one key to the
car and it is the sidewinder type-not easily reproduced? Owners Manual
instructs operator to have one key in ignition turned on, close door
then lock and unlock door with second car which we do not have.
Unfortunately we have no other way to test the keyless transmitter-any
other ideas?
These transmitters are $165. list at the dealer whereas most other
keyless transmitters are $5 or 10 bucks!!
Another common problem is case of keyless transmitter fob cracking and
falling off keychain. Dealer does not offer replacement case for
fob/transmitter (a plastic part worth only a couple of dollars).
Again, Ideas?
THanks
