K26 turbo

Took off the front end of the car yesterday - completely - bumper,
headlights, grill, intercooler and frame, etc.  Preparing to change
water pump, timing belt and cam and crank seals.  This is the first time
I've had a good look at the turbo and see that it is a K26

Can anybody 'in the know' comment on this particular make and model of
turbo?  Is it decent, good or great?  Since I am planning on chipping,
should I budget for a new turbo as well or will this one hold up OK?

BTW, I found the front of the car very easy to take off and boy does it
give you great access to everything.  If anyone wants more info on
removing the front of the car, email me directly and I will pass on my
BTDT, hopefully making it easier for you.
