The dealers I have discussed both this the 2.7T A6 and the V8, 
dont know squat, and neither does Audi USA. Policy is being mad in 
Germany and it varies. There will be a few carbon fibre panel cars 
but hey will be for demo and VIPs in calendar 00. Meantime the 
spec for these cars has changed as has the order codes although 
some dealers like mine were only informed of the code changes 
after my order was placed. You should make your dealer put you in 
touch with the Audi rep and go over your order codes. In addition, 
they are running about 3 months late on promised dates because of 
production problems with some of the furnishings for well equipped 
cars. For example there are 50 a6 V8s and 2.7Ts sitting in Boston 
waiting steering wheels with no promise date.
