I recently replaced the rack in the '84 5KS.  The rebuilt rack has
started leaking at the bolt that fixes it to the firewall on the
passenger side.  The green gold comes right up through the bolt head (the
long bolt that goes through the rack and the two mounting ears on the
firewall).  Anyone ever seen a failure like this?  Why would the fluid be
coming out of the bolt head and not the end of the rack?  I spoke to the
supplier, and they will be sending another rack and cutting a check for
labor (even though I did it myself).  It's still a PITA, I don't believe
I'll ever have a dry spot under this car in my lifetime EXCEPT when it's
piddled all the fluid out.
