FP relay fault diagnosis

I pulled the fuel pump relay, and took the cover off.  I don't see anything 
unusual.  Is there something I should be looking for that would cause 
my intermittent stalling condition, coupled with increase fuel pump 
noise?

This is in regards to an '88 5kcstq with a brand new fuel pump and filter, 
163k miles.

I was planning on buying a new one to rule it out.  Since I already did 
the same with the fuel pump.
