Funny you should mention that.  I hit my cigarette lighter this morning 
(vices, schmices, we all got 'em) and got a small jump on the gauge.  Small, 
but noticeable.  I'll pull the harness this weekend when I get a chance and 
check the ground connections.  After all grounds are verified, if the gauge 
reads differently, I'll update.
