RE: spider bites



oh no, this is our worst fears realised.  this report is clear evidence that
the spider bite can now inflict non-torsen cars.  it's (gasp) like a
virus....

be careful out there folks.  ;-)

        Mike's description of spider bite is a dead-on narration of what my
5K does in a corner.  All suspension components are original and are in the
process of being replaced.  If this cures said behavior, I will inform.
        The first time I pushed the car hard and it bit,  I was indeed
scared and felt that I had lost control of the car.  I used to drive this
car often when it was younger, and it was always very predictable and
stable.   I am getting older and slower, but I put many miles on this car as
a stupid teenager and it had never "bitten" me before.  I am inclined to
think that the aging suspension is the culprit.
