Not that I know of........but I am far from knowing everything............ha
ha ha ha!
In my "other life" in engine R&D (industrial) we had thermocouples before
and after the intercooler, not in the turbo itself (not that relevant). The
only thing we did with the turbo was measure RPM.
I suppose if you were a turbo mfg. you might want to know, but for us
(meaning engine mfg.) it was not relevant. The only other factor I can think
of, is the temp. of the turbo inside the engine compartment for "under the
hood" components temp.
