Thanks for the followup Hans.  I have a Audi AG connected contact at a dealer 
here in the US, that will forward me the scoop.  When I called him yesterday, 
nobody was aware of the recall yet.  My guess is that will change shortly.

Bummer for audi, whatever the problem really is.   The MR2 turbos went thru 
the same teething re: handling at the "extreme".  Hope Audis success is 
better than Toyotas.
