Sounds like the stuff sold under the name "Never Seize" (the brand name may actually be a cutesy corruption of the spelling I've used) here in the U.S. It has the appearance of a dark grease with flecks of copper in it. I used it with success years ago when I worked on high temperature turbine engine bleed air components. It can usually be bought from ball bearing supply houses, such as King Bearing in So. Calif. I think King is in Corona now.
