RE: car stereo-philes needed
I took an Alpine 7558 cassette receiver which had dual illumination
(green/orange) along with an LCD screen and I now have dual illumination
(green/red). It can be done.

Yes, but I doubt you can change the backlight on the LCD display to Audi
red. It's been attempted before, but only the buttons. The LCD is a much
more difficult task. In fact, I think I exchanged some emails with you on
this topic! :) Great minds think alike, eh?
But, merlin, if you've got a fix for the LCD, please, let us know!
