Exactly, the shock has to control osolations with only half of the distance
to work with.
Also these suspention parts are mis-named the way it was explained to me,
the spring absorbs the "shock" and the "shock absorber" dampens or controls
osolations of the spring.  Please feel free to correct me is I am wrong
here.
