Thanks : ISV Hose PN/Vendor Info

True to say, it would be difficult to entirely place blame on a parts
vendor. I only intended to complain about the vendor who gave me
the run around and consequently did a great disservice to me. As
for the wrong part, I have had great business with that vendor, buying
parts and accessories (additives, filters etc) from them and they have
always been helpful so as to return my phone calls as well as offer
to help track the packages when it seemed like the packages might
not arrive as scheduled. They do have a return/exchange policy and
I will contact them, this time with the necessary p/n number which
I have since gotten from fellow listers. The p/n is 054 133 997.

The reason I have to resort to out of state vendors is that there isn't
an Audi dealer in this state. There used to be two but it appears that
they changed their line of business. I'm in Arkansas at the moment
30 minutes away from Little Rock, which makes it a 2 and a half hour
drive to Memphis to the nearest dealer which I have never been to.
A few people have newer model Audis but it appears they had to go
out of state to buy them, my latest sightings were '98+ A8, A4, A4 1.8T,
and a '99(?) TT. But other than that, it just helps to work with 3-party
vendors who deliver at considerably lower prices (for major parts) and
at the convenience of having the part delivered to your door.

I guess my message with model/year info must have crossed with
Huw's e-mail. The car is an '88 80Q. Hopefully sometime next week,
I'll have solved the idle problem and I will continue to have my
continued customer satisfaction with the vendor who inadvertently
sent me the wrong hose.

Thanks again to all who responded to my request for the p/n. I
really appreciated your help.

1. There are about 17 "L-shaped" hoses on my car, some are even stock.

2. what model/year is your car so we can look up what you need?
