Re: Pressure sensor showing 2.1 bar...

     Update: '87 5KCSTQ
Even with the fuel pump relay completely out of
the socket the car still shows 2.1 bar as soon as the
switch is turned on. The wire between the ECU and the
fuel pump must be what signals the FPR to shut down.
I guess this means that the problem is still on the
ECU side of the equation.
I'm not sure about the rest of what I'm seeing in
the electrical wiring section of the Bentley. Does
anyone know what would make the boost gauge on the
dash show 2.1 bar? I'm assuming that if the reading is
2.1 bar that there is something grounded out that shouldn't be. I have been able to operate the pressure
transducer with a vacuum pump and it works properly,
which, I think, lets it off the hook. Especially since
there are 2 ECUs involved and both either work or not,
based on the car's mood.
Any input on what wire may be grounded accidently
would be appreciated.

     Thanks.
