If the coupe GT's have the same type of rear caliper as all the Audi's I have
dealt with, (4Q, 5TQ)  then you have to spin the piston using a large hex
wrench.  There is a threaded shaft inside the caliper that controls the
e-brake.  Rotating the pistion will resets the e-brake and allows the piston to
move further back.
