Hi Tim;

    You need to use an oil that will flow into the hinge. Grease just sits
on the surface. I use "Fluid Film", a wicking, moisture-displacing oil that
is also a rust inhibitor. Check out the hinges - they may be worn out and
need replacing if they haven't been lubed properly.
